I purchased this case for my SONY 400mm f2.8 lens when we travel in small aeroplanes into the less accessible areas such as the Okavango Delta (Botswana) and Zambia etc.

The case is deep enough to accommodate the lens + 2x converter and the camera body all assembled with is great.

I found that the padded collar which secures the rig inside the bag to be a "genius" move! Well done on that.

Just a suggestion. I feel that the padding of the case could be thicker to absorb a shock more successfully.
