This bag works just as advertised. I use it to store my new Sony a1 attached to a Sony 400mm prime with the lens hood on with room to spare. It would be even better if it had a zipper to seal it up if I need to. The straps are sturdy and the pockets are handy for carrying a little extra gear. I put another towel in the bottom for extra padding. I may get the back pack straps now that I know this bag is strong enough to carry out away from the truck.
