The LensCoat^TM BodyBag^TM is a camera body cover made from soft shock-absorbing neoprene, protecting your camera from the nicks, dings and scratches of accidental impact. It also keeps the camera body free from dust and dirt as well as protects it from the elements. The BodyBags Velcro closure makes storage and access quick and easy. I don't put a single body inside one of my bags or case for transport / storage unless it's inside a Body Bag or a Body Bag Pro... This product keeps my bodies looking nice and new - protects against incidental dust & moisture - provides excellent insurance against "bag scuffs" from putting a body in and out of my tight fitting bags.. Highly recommended.....

I bought the BodyBag-Black for my Nikon D70 as travel protection when I put the camera in a non-camera bag. It fits like a glove. It will also hold the D70 with a Kirk "L" bracket. I highly recommend this product...

Fits Nikon d90 very well; even fits it if camera has Really Right Stuff L-Plate (for tripod) attached. Nice material. Even fits with L-Plate and Kata Reflex E strap attached. Fits Nikon D700, but its a bit more snug fit. Will not accommodate if Really Right Stuff D700 L-Plate is attached. Even fits with L-Plate and Kata Reflex E strap attached. Material has very nice feel to it. The material is of a thickness that is more for protecting from scratches and mild bumps as opposed to protection from drops; but you can see from the photo that it\'s not supposed to work like an air bag. Very pleased...

Thanks very much, The regular Body Bag works quite nicely with the RRS L-plate attached, which is great because I just bought a Gitzo 1541T and an RRS BH-40 LR II that I want to carry in my backpack without having to put the 5D, Mk. II in any kind of separate case, so the Body Bag will protect it from things that get jostled around without having to carry a separate camera case or worry about mounting and un-mounting an L-plate with an Allen wrench each time I just want to clamp the body to the ballhead. --Robert..
