I recently purchased a Really Right Stuff tripod that, although extremely well made, didn't have padding around the top tripod legs. Since I often carry a heavy supertelephoto lens and camera when hiking in the nearby mountains, I wanted something to pad the tripod against my shoulder. This product fits and works perfectly. Highly recommended.
