As with the many LensCoat covers I have purchased over the past three years, these tripod leg covers, fitted my Gitzo 1548 tripod like gloves. I use this tripod with a Canon EF 600mm f4L IS lens, which is a heavy beast to lug about in the wilds. These leg covers cushion the weight nicely, and reduce shoulder strain. The RealTree Max4 HD I have consistently chosen, breaks up the silhouette, and I feel is the pattern that shows dirt the least!, as well as protecting this gear from knocks, both of which inevitably accumulate when equipment is used out of doors.
