Made of closed cell foam padding and heavy-duty neoprene, it is soft to the touch but rugged in function. The padding guards your hands from the cold tripod legs in lower temperatures, and can protect the tripod from minor nicks and scratches. Made with Velcro« fasteners for easy assembly.

Great product, I highly recommend this product for heavy tripods. I use a Gitzo 5541LS tripod and this fits perfect...

These leg protectors are rather large but they protect the legs of the tripod and insulate the legs in the cold. I wish that LensCoat made the insulation a little smaller...

This is another great product that I like. Two things especially, which it delivers well (a) The foam acts like an excellent cushion while carrying a heavy lens / body over shoulders and (b) during winters it is warm as compared to handling the tripod directly. I have both the camo and realtree versions which i change depending on environment that I am in. Again, a must have for wildlife photographers and highly recommended...

Makes the legs a lot more comfortable when slung over the shoulder. A shame the foam is too small a diameter, leaving a gap. This could be remedied by supplying a piece of foam to fill the gap. Good idea overall, quite satisfied...
