In general it does what you think it does.

It's durable, soft, and fits well.

The clip is an added bonus!

Only Con:

It would be nice if the clip was metal and not plastic. It would be a bit easier to trust.

My general consensus is I'll never buy anything to protect my camera gear other than lenscoat products.
