I purchased the LensCoatĀ® Canon 400 f/2.8 IS III Realtree Max5 version. It was straight forward to fit and the Max5 version will offer a bit more flexibility in fitting in with local vegetation during both our dry summer and wet winter. However an even more important reason was to protect my new lens! The padding was valuable protection each day for the last 3 weeks as I dashed around a boat 50 kilometres off shore from Bremer Bay in the rocking seas of the southern ocean photographing killer whales and albatrosses...
