Like Charles said it's bulky, but loaded with a Full Gimble Head and a couple other RRS parts it still fits in my large RRS Tripod Bag along side a Versa series 3 nicely.
It is going to work and look much better than Gym socks I've been using. It seems kind of spendy until you look at it. It seems well made and is larger than I thought it would be.
