At the time of ordering I thought it was too expensive for what it was. It’s only after touching it and fitting it that I realised how good the build quality was. Materials are slim but protective. Fitting is perfect and parts don’t move with usage. Windows are precisely cut to let you operate all switches on the lens.
Our tele lenses are expensive and deserve the right protection. I can now handle the lens with far more ease than before without the risk of scratching or damaging.
The cover doesn’t really change the fit in your bag.
I shoot wildlife and went for a camo version. If this is not the case for other users I still strongly advise to get the black version. The main purpose is protection.
