Whenever I purchase an expensive lens that I will be taking out in the field, the first accessory I buy is a Lens Coat cover for that lens. They protect the lens from dirt and knocks, and also camouflage them. I can then use the lens without worrying about rough handling. Lens Coat offer a superb service, and keep going back. I highly recommend this vendor...

I really like this product. I was worried before I bought it that it would fit loose or would strech-out, but it fits really snug and dosen't move. It dosen't seem that it will strech-out, maybe if you took it off and on alot--alot. I shoot this lens mainly hand held and mainly for wildlife it really helps hide this white lens and adds protection "rubber padding". With the lenscoat on it feels really good to my hands. I would highly recomend for anyone that doesn't like the "white" of the big L lenses...

Excellent customer service! Wrote company on the weekend (Sunday I believe) that the window holes on piece #5 were reversed in production and I needed a replacement. Within the hour (again, on a Sunday) I received a reply that it would be taken care of next week. By Wednesday I received my replacement. This is not my first order with them; I have purchased their products through one of their distributors for 14 of our studio’s lens. They work so well that I will not allow any L series lens leave the studio on assignment without a LensCoat and TravelCoat to protect them...
