This is the second LensCoat I have purchased, the first being for my 500 f/4.
The quality is very good and once the various sections are in place (this takes a bit of practice, and perhaps a more prominent warning that care is needed so as not to tear the material or stitching) the whole lens has a much more pleasant feel to it. It is certainly more comfortable to hold in very cold or very warm weather.
From a wildlife photography point of view the Realtree Advantage camo pattern is very effective at concealing the glaring white(ish) finish of the bare lens. I often shoot from my Jeep and find that resting the hand-held lens against a partially open window is much steadier due to the cushioning and non-slip effects of the LensCoat. Needless to say it also provides protection to the lens against knocks and scrapes.
