The LensCoat Hoodie helps protect the front element of your lens from dirt, dust, moisture and impact. The neoprene Hoodie fits easily and snugly around your lens hood or shade in either the shooting position or reversed. The Hoodie features a reinforced removable front element protection disc made from rigid plastic and firm foam to further protect your glass from damage. Great for travel and storing your lenses.

The XXX Large fits lens hoods from 6.25" to 7" in diameter.

I recently purchased an Explore Scientific 127mm refractor telescope for astrophotography. One of the minor drawbacks of that scope is that it's basically impossible to get the lens cap back onto the telescope if the dew shield is still attached. I needed something that I could use as a dust cap for this telescope while I have it setup for a few days at a time in the field to keep sunlight and dust out during the daytime. The XXX Large LensCoat fits perfectly over the dew shield and is exactly what I needed to solve this little issue. It is solid on the end and the neoprene surround is just tight enough to hold it securely to the dew shield so that a strong wind gust won't blow it off. In addition, the black neoprene color just looks good on the carbon fiber telescope tube. Definitely a good purchase and it does exactly what I needed...

The Hoodie fits perfectly on my Canon 500mm lens. It is easy to use and its hard bottom part protect the lens efficiently. It replaces the leather hoodie that is delivered with the 500mm very well and is much much easier and convenient...
