I bought this to be able to keep the lens hood and filter on my Fuji FinePix X100 at all times, since the original manufacturer's lens cap will not allow it. It is an excellent product, does the job wonderfully and I particularly like that it is snug and has a hard base with soft covering to protect the lens and the hood at the front. Highly recommended and will definitely buy another one, in the appropriate size, when I replace my DSLR...

The Hoodie is excellent for protecting unusual lenses. The front protector plate is stiff enough to prevent breakage of the front lens, and the interior has a soft enough coating to prevent scratches...
