This LensCoat XXXX Large Hoodie is designed to be used when the lens hoods are on the lens in the storage position. It slips on easily and provides excellent protection for both shock and dust.

I also purchased the LensCoat XXX Large Hoodie for when I travel by plane. In order to pack this lens into a carry on, I have to remove the lens hoods and pack them to the side of the lens. This 3X size is then used to protect the lens when the hoods are not installed.
