The LensCoat® 100-400 has small hole on the last segment lines up with the red dot indictor, making it easy to quickly line up your lens with camera mount even with the cover installed.

Please note that the The LensCoat® Canon 100-400 IS cannot cover the fixed portion of the lens barrel due to the manner in which the lens barrel extends/retracts leaving approximately 3 inches exposed when the lens is fully extended.

I bought this for my husband who is an avid hunter. He loves it. It is easy to put on and remove. I didn't want a skin to cover the lens because when I use it I would prefer it not be camoflouged. Therefore, this removable cover is perfect. My husband also likes the fact that it has some padding to help protect the lens. Thanks!..

First of all I want to comment that this was a great shopping experience from the \"Thank you\" (personally written) on my invoice, to it\'s fast shipment and now how great it looks on my lens. The fit was great. It not only is perfect as a camouflage, but perfect to protect my lens at the forest trails and the beach. I was hesitant to spend the money, but now that I have it, I think it\'s really worth it. First, the birds will come nearer and second, my expensive lens is protected. Thank you very much!..
