The LensCoat Hoodie helps protect the front element of your lens from dirt, dust, moisture and impact. The neoprene Hoodie fits easily and snugly around your lens hood or shade in either the shooting position or reversed. The Hoodie features a reinforced removable front element protection disc made from rigid plastic and firm foam to further protect your glass from damage. Great for travel and storing your lenses.

The X Large fits lens hoods from 4.75" to 5.25" in diameter.

Not used in field yet, but this is a good fit, and I am sure that it will help protect front glass, and help keep the detachable lens hood on...

Great lens protection, nice design & good quality. When buying, make sure you measure with/without the lens hood. I have bought several to fit all my lenses with & without the hood attached...

I purchased a Hoodie Cover to fit on an old Nikon 300mm f2.8 telephoto lens. Because of its age, the standard Nikon cap was no longer available. I had been using a plastic lid from a container my wife had. The Hoodie works great. It fit the end of the lens perfectly and was snug enough to keep it from sliding off. Great construction, and the material looks strong enough to take a lot of abuse. Will buy again, and I highly recommend these to anyone for their lenses..

I purchased this Hoodie to work in conjunction with the LensCoat for my 500mm Canon lens for travel and field work. Both pieces performed very well and provided convenient protection. This lens was transported in a backpack in several small planes for a trip here in Alaska and I was pleased at the level of extra cushoning these two neoprene products provided in addition to my padded backpack. Great product!..
