Somehow this wasn't quite as well finished as I'd imagined, yet it does the job perfectly well. I couldn't help wondering why there isn't an extra piece to go over the focus ring, to complete the job. A neoprene grip around the focus ring would still leave it working well enough, I think. Finally the windows for viewing the distance scale window are excellent, though I don't see it being useful as a medium for engaging the manual / auto focus switch...

Very pleased with the LensCoat for the 500 AF-S II. Very quick and speedy delivery. Actual coat fits well, looks good and looks to protect my lens well...

Well it\'s about time for Nikon covers, thank you for making these. I got mine the first week it was out and put it on in a flash. I must say that the craftsmanship of your covers is just superb, everything lines up and fits like a glove. The neoprene is just what I wanted to really protect my lens, the camo color to me is a bonus, I liked it so much I got a black one as well soon after receiving my camo cover, heck I have to have something on while the other one is being cleaned! I would just say to anyone reading this that the price is a small investment to protect the finish on a very expensive lens.....just do it you will not regret it!! These covers are just excellent!!!
