I had some reservations about buying this in part because it is expensive and also I was not sure the cover would make that much difference with disguising the lens in wildlife photography conditions. I don\'t regret it and have ordered a second for my 300mm F2.8 IS. The bonus is that it also protects the outer case of the lens in field conditions.
