After over a year of waiting for its delivery, I finally received the extraordinary Nikon 500mm f5.6 PF lens. Living up to all its promises of light weight portability and high grade image quality, I wanted to protect it as I have all my other major lenses, I ordered the LENSCOAT&reg; NIKON 500 F/5.6E AF-S PF ED VR This was installed on the lens and, like all the others on other lenses, will not be removed till some event forces me to part with the lens. It looks great, protects the lens from stem to stern, and was the easiest to install. Probably the diminutive size of the lens was the reason why it was so easy to install. Long live the 500mm f5.6 PF lens with its Lenscoat cover! Very happy with both!</p>
