This is an excellent protection coat for my valuable 600mm VR lens. I go out a lot for taking bird pictures offroad and have always worried about protecting my gear while I hike and while i stay in cheap hotels / tents. I use this travelcoat to protect my lens when am not using it. I trust that it remains safe away from dust particles and cold. Also, i have been using it with my hood on along with my xxxx hoodie. Generally i put the hoodie on first and than cover it with this coat. Excellent product from Lenscoat and highly recommended.
