New Page 1 This is one smart bag. Whether you're in the field or a safari vehicle it’s perfect when you want to be ready to take the shot at a moment's notice. The 4Xpandable bag can be ingeniously folded to three different sizes – or folded flat!

Position 1: full size, 28.75" height; perfect for a long lens in shooting position with teleconverter and camera body*

Position 2: Folded down to 24.5”; makes the bag more compact and lowers its center of gravity

Position 3: Folded down to 21.5”; now the bag is small enough to be used as an airline carry-on aboard most commercial aircraft.

Removable lid with pocket zips on easily and securely at all three positions

Male and female ends on removable shoulder strap allow for strap to be used to secure bag

Removable reinforced insert panels allow you to configure the weight and support

Soft sided construction allow the bag to be folded nearly flat for storage or packing

Built to last with heavy-duty water-resistant Codura and lightweight, water-resistant nylon lining

M.O.L.L.E webbing system to easily add pouches and accessories

Removable harness (sold separately)

I purchased this case for my SONY 400mm f2.8 lens when we travel in small aeroplanes into the less accessible areas such as the Okavango Delta (Botswana) and Zambia etc. The case is deep enough to accommodate the lens + 2x converter and the camera body all assembled with is great. I found that the padded collar which secures the rig inside the bag to be a "genius" move! Well done on that. Just a suggestion. I feel that the padding of the case could be thicker to absorb a shock more successfully...

This bag is quite versatile and will serve me well, both as a carry on for my lens and pro body (detached), and then expanded to protect my system while in a safari vehicle, but be ready to shoot. I have not used this in the field yet, but it looks like it should work well. Expanding and collapsing are quite simple...

Very high build quality, well thought out, and actually works with my D4, 600mm f4 set, with both lens hoods on. I had the Lowepro version and it did not have enough room, I was constantly missing shots while goofing around with lens hoods...
