I've used LensCoat body bags for years. Each camera gets a body bag to protect it from bumps and bruises in the camera bag. Camera bodies don't move much in the camera bag, but they can be dinged while changing equipment in a hurry. The LensCoat body bags slide over the camera body quickly. There's no excuse for leaving a camera body exposed.

I do like the the colors, too. For years everything in my camera bag was black and protected by black LensCoats. I'm adding color when I order a new product. Makes finding things in the camera bag easier.

The LenCoat body bags are durable. I've never had one wear out. Never had the velcro latch wear. The material stretches just enough for easy inserting and removal.

I've got these pouches for all my bodies. The D4s with L-bracket fits in here easily, as does the D4 and the D810 with battery grip and L-bracket. When I go to Nikon Professional Services to have my sensors cleaned, I just put the bodies in the pouches and put them in a regular daypack - no need to bring the entire camera bag, and they're just as save.
