The LensCoat® BodyBag® Pro w/lens is a camera body and lens cover made from soft shock-absorbing neoprene, protecting your camera from the nicks, dings and scratches of accidental impact. It also keeps the camera body and lens free from dust and dirt as well as protects it from the elements. The BodyBag also features a removable front element protection disc made from rigid plastic and firm foam to further protect your glass from damage. The BodyBag's Velcro closure makes storage and access quick and easy and the retaining strap attaches the case easily around the camera strap. ,This will in fact fit the Canon R with the optional Canon battery grip attached. And there is room for a lens on the body, albeit a short lens. I can fit the camera and grip in with the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8. The case is well made, the neoprene is just thick enough to cushion and protect the camera but be flexible enough to stretch as you fit the body in. Seams are well stitched and glued. Should last a long time

I got this for my new Canon EOS R which has the battery grip attached. It fits very well either without a lens or with my Canon RF 35mm f1.8. It is a bit tight with other lenses that are longer. My to go camera bag is a large messenger style sling bag and it is not padded so I like to put the camera into this type of neoprene case to give some protection from bumps and limit dust and debris getting on the camera.

So if you have the R and battery grip give it a try.

reminds me of the old ready case. this body bag is perfect for camera, 4.5" lens and optional power drive. keeps everything safe, dust proof and easy to get at. also bought same body bag only in snow pattern.

Nice product. Very well made. Simple but effective. It fits my Nikon D700 + MB-10 battery grip + Nikkor 28-200 or Nikkor 24-85 with hood to perfection.
The best solution to protect body+grip. Absolutelly recommendable.

I bought this cover for my Canon 5D Mk II with EF 24-105 IS lens attached.
This was my mistake the case does not quite fit this combination.

The product however is one of the best I have seen on my shopping travels, it is extremely well shaped, well made, fabric quality is excellent and well worth the cost.
In spite of my miscalculation will protect my camera for its lifetime.
