Something to consider is that the shoulder pad does not work well with tripod with a center post. I purchased this for the leg wraps and the cushioning those would provide for my shoulder, but purchased the model with the shoulder pad version thinking I'd like to try that as apposed to the traditional over my shoulder... and did not consider how the center post would affect the use of it. I'm still happy with the purchase and was actually thinking the shoulder pad was iffy for myself even before ordering. With a big gimbal system and big lens sticking straight up off my shoulder it would be a snagging problem in much of the terrain I wander in as it was. Still, I'll keep it on hand and will use it, maybe removing the center post for some circumstances, but photographing birds in flight overhead I tend to use the center post by extending it to get my camera at eye level even point very high.
,Perfect fit, fantastic quality. A must for anyone shooting in the field. I have one set in Max5 for shooting wildlife and one set in Red to stand out in the crowd when shooting sports events. Thank you LensCoat!
