Before I get to the product review, I'm glad to have chosen to purchase from LensCoat.com. The service has been great. Nice work! As for the product, it really is well designed and fits like a glove. My only regret is not taking enough care when fitting the original lens hood when stowing for the first time, as it crumpled the lens coat, but being neoprene, it soon returned to it's normal state. Go slow when fitting the hood to ensure it slips over the lenscoat correctly. Installation was a piece of cake. A one-page instruction guide accompanies the package which graphically indicates which piece goes where, and the text instructions give you little tips on what to look out for when installing. I really recommend this for any big lens user...

Outstanding product. I had purchased the same pattern about a year ago for my 300mm f/2.8 and loved it, so I bought this one for my new 500mm f/4. Now they match, and are *almost* equally badass. I love the digital camo pattern, which seems to work very well at breaking up the silhouette in various light and terrain. Perfect fit, nicely sewn, and protects my lenses from bumps/scratches. I'm incredibly satisfied, and will be a repeat customer for sure. Free microfiber cloth was a very nice touch, and came in it's own little case too!..

Nicely made and fits very well. You need to take the lens foot off to fit it so you will need a small allen key (the one supplied with wimberley plates fits!)..
