I shoot a Canon 7d with a 70 to 200mm lens and a x1.4 extender with the lens hood attached. I have used a 2 gallon food bag to shield the set up. So when I am adjusting for the shot, things have not been protected as well as I would like. The standard LensCoat is a GREAT improvement and my set up is now not exposed while I set up the shot. I think the cost of the LensCoat is a very small investment to avoid equipment repair costs...

This cover is excellent. It works well with both large and small lenses. The fitting around the lens hood is far better than anything offered by anyone else. The internal volume is adjustable, this is great when used on cold nights as you can wrap insulation around the lens to stop fogging and the cover can be adjusted to suit. If you want a good weather proof cover save yourself any disappoint and get this one......

Checked out the website and read some reviews and made my purchase. VERY glad I did, the cover is everything I could hope for and it packs up light and small. Very satisfied. Ed...

I really like the RainCoat as that open end at the camera prevents it from fogging as has happened to me in the past. It is also nice and flexible, easy to clothe your lens and easy to open it for manual adjustments. This now will be my primary lens cover in inclimate weather...
