As with the medium hoodie, this product does an excellent job of protecting the front of the lens from dust and spray as well as bumps. Better than a regular lens cap, which is difficult to manipulate with the lens hood attached. The hoodie is soft but strong and cushioned, and fits well on my Nikkor 24-70. I'm very pleased with it.
