This cover offers protection from bumps and scratches. With the Apple leather cover attached the Ipad still slides easily into and out of the neoprene sleeve. If you've ever handled the Ipad you'll know they can be slippery little thing and can slide out of a nap pack or tote bag if they happen to tip to one side but this cover provides a surface that inhibits that. Warm to the touch and well made this will outlast the Ipad.
Great service from LensCoat even in Canada, I'd buy from them again.
