Definitely something I was looking for and very happy to find. I am always carrying around that lens on jobs or for pleasure wishing I had something covering the hood opening when not shooting. My only comment is that I place the lens down on tables, etc. when not shooting and with this on it becomes a bit unstable and wish it was more rigid on the top/base of the hoodie so you could do this...similar to how it is with the factory cover...

I love the Hoodie. This is the missing component to the otherwise outstanding Nikon 200-400 VR lens. It is great to be able to carry the lens in the field with the end capped -- keeping out dust and debris, yet still to be able to quickly remove the Hoodie and be ready to shoot in seconds. Highly recommended...
