LensCoat® Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC G2 telephoto lens cover offers your valuable equipment some protection from scrapes and bumps, preserving its resale value. It also helps break up the shape of your lens, making it less noticeable to wildlife.

The LensCoat® Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC G2 features clear plastic windows over the auto focus controls and also the distance scale and lock switch. A small hole on the last segment lines up with the whit alignment indicator, making it easy to quickly line up your lens with camera mount even with the cover installed.

*This cover comes with an optional piece for the lens is zoomed out to 600mm which can be quickly and easily put on and removed with its Velcro attachment as seen in the picture.

The kit also comes with 2 additional pieces for when the lens is used with the rotating tripod collar- not seen in the picture.

At the time of ordering I thought it was too expensive for what it was. It's only after touching it and fitting it that I realised how good the build quality was. Materials are slim but protective. Fitting is perfect and parts don't move with usage. Windows are precisely cut to let you operate all switches on the lens.
Our tele lenses are expensive and deserve the right protection. I can now handle the lens with far more ease than before without the risk of scratching or damaging.
The cover doesn't really change the fit in your bag.
I shoot wildlife and went for a camo version. If this is not the case for other users I still strongly advise to get the black version. The main purpose is protection.

Fits the lens really well and tight, so that I can use the focus rings without problems
