TravelCoat covers are made of 3mm thick shock-absorbing closed cell neoprene. Custom tailored to fit you lens providing protection allowing you more valuable room for packing and storage. Slides over lens quickly and easily with a Velcro closure.

The TravelCoat for the Nikon 500 VR is available in two different styles to fit your packing/storage preference. One model is for use with out the hood on the lens and the other model is for people who put the lens hood on the lens in the reverse position

Use with the appropriate Hoodie for complete lens protection.

TravelCoats are available in Black, Forest Green, Realtree Max4, Realtree Max5, Realtree Snow, and Digital Camo.

I am delighted with these protective coats. They fit snugly over the standard neoprene protection and still enable me to put my lenses comfortably into carry-on size rucksacks. I was able to test the easy on - easy off aspect of the velcro closures on a recent trip, when the officious security man decided that he needed to see inside the whole package and insisted on all my equipment being stripped naked and demonstrated not to be a bomb in disguise. Zen breathing afterwards made replacing all the covers quick and easy.

I have had the TravelCoat for a short time
First the service and delivery was excellent
The quality of the item was excellent but I think the coat should be supplied with a cover for the front element (sold separately)
I believe this will serve me well and keep the lens well protected

This is a great solution and it works for travel perfectly.
