The LensCoat® for the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM telephoto lens helps protect your valuable equipment from scrapes, bumps, dust, and harsh outdoor conditions while preserving its appearance and resale value. By breaking up the recognizable shape of your lens, it also helps make your equipment less noticeable to wildlife. The neoprene cover also acts as a thermal barrier, making your lens more comfortable to handle in both hot and cold temperatures.
The cover features a clear plastic window over the distance scale, along with access holes for the Focus Limiter, Auto Focus, and Image Stabilization switches. A small hole on the final segment lines up with the lens's red mounting dot, making it easy to quickly align your lens with the camera mount without removing the cover.
The LensCoat® 70-300 L IS also includes an optional Velcro-closure piece that covers the fixed portion of the lens barrel when the lens is fully zoomed. Two additional optional pieces are supplied for use with the lens's rotating collar, providing added flexibility while shooting.
