The cover features a clear plastic window over the Auto Focus and Image Stabilization (IS) controls, allowing you to easily view and access these controls while keeping the lens protected.

The kit also includes an additional cover piece for use with the rotating tripod collar, providing added coverage when the lens is mounted with the tripod collar.
